Court Recognizes Student Artists

Cleveland:  The Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court recognized local students whose art work was part of a month-long celebration of Black History Month.

Students from Euclid High School, the Cleveland School of the Arts, Thomas Jefferson Newcomers Academy and Lakewood High School loaned their Black History Month-themed works to the Justice Center. Some even donated their pieces for permanent display in the Justice Center.

Administrative Judge Brendan Sheehan met with some of the students on Friday, February 28, to thank them and discuss their art. They also got to visit Judge Sheehan's courtroom and office.

The art was on display on the first floor for the public to enjoy. It included sketches, paintings, digital art, sculpture and photography.
