Judge Jennifer O'Donnell Takes Office

 

The Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court General Division welcomed Judge Jennifer O’Donnell to the Bench on Friday, December 9, 2022.

Judge O’Donnell will serve out the unexpired term of the late Judge Nancy McDonnell, and will need to seek election again in 2026 for a full, six-year term. She takes over the seat held by Judge Kenneth Callahan, who was appointed by Governor Mike DeWine upon Judge McDonnell’s passing.

Judge O’Donnell received a bachelor's degree from Denison University, and a law degree from the Case Western Reserve School of Law. She joined the bar in 2008

Prior to becoming a Judge, Jennifer O’Donnell served as an assistant Cuyahoga County public defender for 14 years.
