Drug Court Graduation 2-29-24
Judge Kelly A. Gallagher has now presided over six graduations since becoming the Drug Court Judge.
On Thursday, February 29, Judge Gallagher congratulated three clients who completed the program. They are now living clean and sober lives, and are able to put the drug-related cases behind them.
Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court began building its Drug Court program in 2008, and it now includes four dockets. Drug Court adheres to science-based principals, only accepting those who are assessed as drug dependent.
Judge Gallagher presides over the traditional Drug Court docket which accepts more challenging offenders, such as those with repeat criminal histories or opiate dependencies.
Well done to the graduates! We know at least two moms were there to cheer them on.
